About Us

Strathearn Park Lodge was purpose-built as a luxury guesthouse, with no detail overlooked to create a relaxed, well appointed home-away-from-home country holiday, with privacy as a high priority.

The Lodge is set on 300 acres situated in a peaceful setting near Scone at the top of the Hunter Valley, overlooking a magnificent valley of horse studs, dairies and farmland.

This unique B&B comprises four main accommodation rooms, each fully air-conditioned and equipped with their own fireplace, spa, lounge area and concealed courtyard, making each room a private retreat.

The Lodge offers a number of recreational facilities, from outdoor BBQ areas and an 11km walk/jogging track to a fully appointed indoor solar-heated swimming pool.

There are a number of dining experiences available to meet the needs of all our guests, and local wines are also on offer to complement the meal.

The name Strathearn Park Lodge is derived from history. Scone was originally known as the Parish of Strathearn, and was named after the Palace of Scone in the Scottish valley that marks the ancient crowning place of the kings of Scotland.  Today, Scone is the essence of rural life and is known for famous horse studs, fine wines and rugged bushland.
