Festival of the Fleeces
The Merriwa Festival of the Fleeces celebrates the merino industry that has shaped this community. You will find over 100 market stalls, family attractions, shearing demonstrations, team penning championships, sheep yard dog trials, whip cracking, Australian wool fashion parade, live music, vintage vehicle displays and fireworks.
Watch over 150 sheep wearing red socks in the ‘Running of the Sheep’ on the Saturday.
