One of the biggest country race days on the NSW racing calendar and a half day public holiday in Scone. The Darley Scone Cup Day is the first day of the well-loved Scone Cup Carnival – mark it in your calendar, jump online and book some tickets!

The Scone Race Club, established in 1944, is recognised as one of the premium racing surfaces in NSW. With this said, it should be no surprise that the two-day Scone Cup Carnival, is the richest country racing carnival in Australia, offering over $2M in prize money across the two days and holds stand-alone metropolitan status.

Being the largest racing event of the year in the Hunter Valley, the enormous trackside marquee dines 1200 patrons in what can only be described as a one-off racing and social experience. Where else can you purchase a ticket in a marquee and be guaranteed to be dining alongside racing and breeding royalty. The who’s who of the industry embrace the Scone Racing Carnival as their own and enjoy sharing their passion for this terrific event with all attendees.
